Job: Web Guru, designer, graphic artist

Aberdeen LLC is a manufacturer of computer servers and storage. We are
looking for an energetic jack-of-all-trades Web guru, one that is
totally immersed into the Internet, the latest website and marketing
trends and a computer hobbyist. Amateur expertise in the below is just
as acceptable as professional experience.

DUTIES:

Responsible for assisting in the ongoing design and upkeep of
Aberdeen’s website, www.aberdeeninc.com, and related marketing
activities to include, but not limited to:

• Creating new website pages as new products are added our product offering.
• Making sure existing pages remain up-to-date.
• Working with our Marketing Department on the creation of email
marketing pieces that link to the website.
• Writing and formatting technical documents including manuals,
whitepapers and pamphlets.
• Scripting, editing and producing videos for placement in Aberdeen
and YouTube websites.
• Other related duties as reasonably requested toward the goal of
Aberdeen’s overall success.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A strong working knowledge in the technical aspects of the
architecture and operation of a website.
• A working knowledge of Flash, HTML5, ActionScript, JavaScript, HTML
and other standard website programming facilities and tools ( AJAX and
ASP.NET knowledge is a plus).
• A working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio and other image
editing, illustration and flow chart tools.
• A working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Elements and other movie
editing software.
• The creative ability to design a visually pleasing and functionally
efficient website and marketing documents.
• The ability to write comprehensive copy that is both technically and
grammatically correct.
• A working knowledge of computer hardware is a plus.
• Must be available for periodic overtime as reasonably requested to
meet requirements. This may include weekday evening and weekend hours.
