Yasemin ELMAS

Yasemin Elmas has close to 20 years of experience in US immigration, start-ups, and business development both in Turkey and the United States. She also is a professional Mediator certified by the Los Angeles County Bar Association.  In addition to her professional contributions, Yasemin volunteered her time with various nonprofit organizations in both Turkey and the United States.  She was involved with human rights and women rights, as well as on issues related to immigration. Yasemin is committed to deepening the social and cultural connections between Turkey and the United States.  She co-founded and served on the boards of several nonprofit community organizations in both countries. She has been contributing to the Turkish American Community in Los Angeles since 1995 in different capacities. Most recently she was elected to the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Turkish American Association in 2012 as the Vice President and between 2014 and 2016 she had been served as the President.
